Valley receives light rainfall | KNO

MeT predicts improvement in weather from Jun 01

Srinagar, May 30 (KNO): As the Valley received intermittent rainfall from Saturday afternoon, the weatherman here has predicted more rains till May 31. Talking to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Deputy Director MeT, Dr Mukhtar Ahmad said that as predicted earlier, many parts of the Valley have received light rainfall. “There is possibility of more light and intermittent rainfall till May 31 (Sunday),” he said. He further stated that the weather condition across the Valley would remain dry from June 01-June 05, adding that there is possibility of gusty winds at some isolated places in Kashmir as well. However, as per the prediction by India Meteorological Department (IMD), the isolated thunderstorm, lightening, hail and gusty winds will continue for the next four days in Jammu and Kashmir –(KNO)
